Meet the Doctor

My name is Dr. Jagannathan Ramakrishnan. I prefer to be called Dr. J. I graduated from the University of Madras and completed my Masters in Operative Dentistry in 1989.  I am also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences at the University of Minnesota. After having practiced dentistry for almost thirty years, I thought the best way to give back is to share my knowledge with dental students. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills to the younger generation.

I have practiced dentistry in the northern suburbs of Minnesota for more than twelve years. I feel blessed to have the skills and knowledge to be a dentist, and enjoy helping my patients improve their smiles and overall function.

I am blessed to have my lovely wife, Anitha. She is a dental hygienist and works in Osseo, Minnesota. I am the proud father of two beautiful and intelligent girls. Shruti, my oldest daughter, is a dentist and I am happy that she also works at Lindgren Dental. Dhriti, my youngest daughter, is a graduate of UC, Davis. She did her masters in Genetic Counseling at UMN and she currently works as a Faculty at University of Columbia Medical Center, NYC.

In my spare time, I am an avid ping pong player, enjoy water sports, traveling, and giving back through dental mission trips. I am blessed with a grandson and I enjoy spending time with him.  I am grateful for all of the current technology in our office that I can use to help improve your overall dental experience.
