Lindgren Dental Care in Cottage Grove, MN is looking to add an additional Hygienist to our one of a kind team. We are a practice that prides ourselves on providing quality dental services by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and procedures to create long lasting smiles. A successful candidate is someone with great communication skills, works well in a positive team environment and is self-motivated. If you are a goal oriented person that practices patient centered care with a standard of excellence you might be a great fit for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient health and dental history and updating as necessary.
• Provide patient screening procedures including periodontal screening, oral cancer screening and blood pressure and pulse measurement.
• Proficient in taking necessary radiographs, and administering local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as needed.
• Perform scaling, root planning and place medicaments subgingivally for periodontal treatment.
• Apply sealants and fluoride varnish.
• Accurately communicate and document treatment completed and recommended.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by dentist, team lead and manager.

Requirements:

• Must have completed at least 2 years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Must be licensed to practice dental hygiene in Minnesota.
• Must be CPR certified.

At Lindgren Dental Care we strive to provide comprehensive dental health through thorough exams, screenings and patient education. The position has a starting salary range of $34 - $40 hourly based on experience. Benefits include 401K, in office dental, medical, paid vacation and holidays.
